The short answer
My value to a Littleton home buyer is the combination of local roots, real estate experience and personal attention. I want to understand how you live, help you see beyond a listing’s photos, and give you enough context to make your own confident decision. A successful purchase should fit your life as well as your budget.
Littleton is personal to me
I was born and raised in Littleton. After more than 40 years of living and exploring Colorado, I bring a personal connection to this area alongside my professional experience. That does not mean every neighborhood is right for everyone. It means I know why it is worth asking more useful questions than simply how many bedrooms you want.
Where do you go on an ordinary weekday? What would you like to do more often? Would main-floor living, room for outdoor equipment or a different commute change daily life? We build the search around your answers, then verify the practical details at the actual properties.
Experience that helps me ask better questions
I earned my Colorado real estate license in 2004 and joined RE/MAX Professionals in Littleton in 2012. My background includes helping clients buy and sell more than 500 homes, a marketing education, home flips and ownership of long-term and short-term investment properties. You can read the fuller story on my experience page.
Experience is valuable when it changes the questions we ask. What is driving this seller’s position? Is the apparent bargain still a good fit once you account for work and ongoing costs? Which terms protect your goals? I bring that perspective to the conversation without pretending that every transaction follows the same script.
Personal attention begins before the showing
I want the relationship to begin with a conversation, not a list of automated property alerts. We should discuss your priorities, your timeline, what feels uncertain and how you prefer to communicate. I also want to know what would make you decide not to buy yet.
My job is to help you compare trade-offs clearly. If a home has a feature that conflicts with the priorities you gave me, we should talk about it—even when the home photographs beautifully. A relationship built on trust includes giving you room to think and explaining options without pressure.
Look at how the home works, not just how it looks
My investing and renovation experience informs the way I look at layout, improvements and practical use. During a showing, I want us to notice the relationship between rooms, above-grade and basement space, drainage around the home, access to mechanical systems and signs that merit a closer professional review.
That perspective is not a substitute for a qualified inspection or engineering opinion. I do not promise to diagnose concealed defects. I help identify questions and coordinate the right next steps—such as reviewing permits, getting a sewer scope, testing for radon or consulting a specialist when appropriate. Attractive finishes and sound construction are separate things to investigate.
A community fit that belongs to you
Local knowledge should help you investigate a place, not tell you what kind of person belongs there. We can compare access to parks, services, transportation and the activities that matter to you. School enrollment, travel times, association rules and future development should be checked with the relevant sources.
From there, we connect the home search to financing, negotiation, inspection decisions and closing. My buying process explains those stages. If you are looking for a Littleton buyer’s agent who will learn your priorities and stay focused on the relationship, I would welcome that first conversation.
Common questions
Does Dane work with first-time Littleton buyers?
My buying approach starts with your goals and experience level. We can talk through financing preparation, the search, an offer and the decisions between contract and closing.
Does a buyer’s agent replace a home inspector?
No. My role includes identifying questions and helping coordinate appropriate due diligence. Licensed specialists and qualified inspectors provide their own assessments.
